Chapter 01
2011 — 2015
The Beginning
醫道之始
In 2011, a name was drawn — 醫道閣. A small logo, an invoice book, and an idea about what a Chinese medicine practice could be.
2011 年，一個名字被畫了出來 —— 醫道閣。一個小小的標誌、一本收據簿，以及一個關於中醫可以是什麼樣子的想法。
By 2014, the work had already stepped outside the treatment room. Television, then a small practice in a Bangsar South SOHO — one room, one practitioner.
到了 2014 年，這件事已經走出治療室。先是電視節目，然後是 Bangsar South 一個小 SOHO 裡的診間 —— 一個房間，一位醫師。
醫道閣 existed before Virtue TCM did. 醫道閣，比 Virtue TCM 更早存在。
Chapter 02
2016 — 2020
Finding a Voice
成為一間不一樣的中醫館
In 2016 the practice entered a new chapter under the name Virtue TCM. The following year it took a booth at a public health expo — not to sell, but to explain.
2016 年，診所以 Virtue TCM 之名進入新的階段。隔年在一場公眾健康展設攤 —— 不是為了推銷，是為了解釋。
In 2018, Oriental Daily ran a full feature on the clinic — on treating the whole person, on what a modern Chinese medicine practice might look like. Then came the health columns, and a regular newspaper column of his own.
2018 年，《東方日報》以整版篇幅特寫這間診所 —— 關於全人治療，關於現代中醫可以是什麼樣子。接著是健康專欄，以及後來自己固定的報紙專欄。
What we say today was already on the page in 2018. 今天講的這些，2018 年就已經寫在報紙上了。
Chapter 03
2021 — 2022
From Practitioner to Practice
從一雙手，到一個團隊
A second centre opened in Mont Kiara. More importantly, a second pair of hands — then a third.
第二間診所在 Mont Kiara 開幕。但更重要的是第二雙手 —— 然後是第三雙。
Teaching what you do forces you to name it. The structural work that had been developing in clinic had to become something that could be explained, taught, and repeated by someone else's hands.
要教別人，就必須先把做的事情說清楚。診間裡慢慢磨出來的結構手法，必須變成可以解釋、可以傳授、可以由別人的手重複的東西。
A method is what a habit becomes
when someone else has to learn it.
當一個習慣必須讓別人學會，它才變成一套方法。
Chapter 04
2023 — 2025
Beyond the Clinic
走出診室
In September 2023, a three-day retreat at The Blue Mansion in George Town — Chinese medicine inside a heritage house, for people who had come for a weekend, not a diagnosis.
2023 年九月，喬治市藍屋的三天 retreat —— 中醫走進一棟古蹟建築，面對的是來度週末的人，不是來看病的人。
In 2024 the Bangsar practice moved into a bungalow with room to breathe. In 2025, The Qing Suites opened on Lebuh Leith — a permanent home in George Town, with Cheong Fatt Tze.
2024 年，Bangsar 搬進一棟有呼吸空間的 bungalow。2025 年，The Qing Suites 在 Lebuh Leith 開幕 —— 在喬治市有了固定的家，與 Cheong Fatt Tze 合作。
Chinese medicine moved from the clinic
into the places people already go.
中醫從診所，走進了人們本來就會去的地方。
Chapter 05
2026
A Wider Stage
更大的舞台
A second hospitality collaboration in Kuala Lumpur. Coverage in regional press. Three centres, and a team of six practitioners working from the same clinical language.
吉隆坡的第二個 hospitality 合作。區域媒體的報導。三間診所，六位醫師，使用同一套臨床語言。
