面部刮痧：在診所做和自己在家刮，有什麼不同？

簡單回答：在家刮痧適合日常保養，重點是輕、慢、一定要有油。在診所做的面部刮痧，會先看你的皮膚和整體狀態，連同頸肩一起處理，路線和力道比較完整。兩者不是二選一：很多人隔一段時間來診所做一次，平常在家輕輕刮。

Short answer: facial gua sha at home is for everyday care: light, slow and always with oil. A session at the clinic starts by looking at your skin and how you are overall, includes the neck and shoulders, and follows a fuller sequence. It is not one or the other; many people come in every so often and keep a light routine at home in between.

在家刮：適合做什麼

每天幾分鐘，在臉部上油之後，用刮痧板幾乎平貼皮膚，由臉中間往外、由下往上輕輕推開。適合放鬆臉部、讓早上看起來不那麼浮腫。刮到發紅、刺痛，就是太用力了。詳細做法請看：面部刮痧在家怎麼用

A few minutes a day after applying oil: hold the tool almost flat and glide it outwards and upwards. It is good for relaxing the face and easing morning puffiness. If the skin turns red or stings, you are pressing too hard. Step by step: facial gua sha at home

在診所做：多了什麼

先看再做。會先了解你的睡眠、作息和皮膚狀況，看哪裡比較緊、比較浮腫。
連頸肩一起。臉部的緊繃常和頸肩、下顎有關，診所會一起處理。
完整的路線。由受過中醫訓練的人員操作，順序、角度和力道比自己在鏡子前做更一致。
可以搭配。需要時可以和面部撥筋（Bo Jin）或面部針灸一起安排。

Look before starting: sleep, routine and skin are checked first, along with where the face feels tight or puffy. Neck and shoulders too: tension in the face is often linked to the neck, shoulders and jaw. A fuller sequence: done by TCM-trained staff, with more consistent order, angle and pressure than in front of a mirror. Can be combined: with facial Bo Jin or facial acupuncture when suitable.

什麼時候先不要刮

皮膚有傷口、正在發炎的痘痘、曬傷，或近期做過醫美療程（例如注射、雷射），先不要刮，或先問過醫師。皮膚容易泛紅、敏感的人，力道要更輕。

Skip it, or ask first, if the skin is broken, you have inflamed breakouts or sunburn, or you have recently had a cosmetic procedure such as injections or laser. If your skin flushes easily, go even lighter.
